Technology-Enhanced Language Learning
Apprentissage des langues assisté par ordinateur
About Us
Donna Mydlarski and Associates of 3D Courseware are teachers, researchers, authors and software developers in the area of English and French as second and foreign languages. They have been involved in CALL (computer-assisted language learning) for over thirty years. They pool their knowledge and experience to create software that is driven by learning theory, not technology. See What They Say About Us.
History
In 1999, three professors formed an association for the purpose of creating and distributing quality multimedia
software with a focus on the official languages and cultures of Canada. Two members of the group (Donna Mydlarski and Dana Paramskas)
have worked together since the early 1980s on various technology-enhanced projects. André Bougaïeff joined them and, under the
name of Les Éditions 3D, the three authors published a CD-ROM entitled La chaise berçante in 2001. From 2006 to 2008, they
further published a set of CD-ROMs, Le chandail de hockey and The Hockey Sweater, and the companion Guide pédagogique
and Teachers Guide.
